1. Who we are
The AXIOM Defense Frontier Cyber Wire (the Wire) is published by Colibri Holdings Ltd, registered in England and Wales, company number 09741137, registered office 71 Queen Victoria Street, London EC4V 4BE, United Kingdom. VAT GB271861001. ICO registration ZB415775. Everything reaches us at hello@axiom.vc.
AXIOM is a brand, not a company. AXIOM, AXIOM Venture Capital and the Wire are names under which Colibri Holdings Ltd publishes. Your contract for access to and use of the Wire is with Colibri Holdings Ltd. New paid Monthly and Annual subscriptions are sold through Link, Stripe’s merchant of record. Link’s payment terms, shown at checkout, also apply to the transaction.
We are not authorised or regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority.
2. These Terms
They are the contract between you and us, whether you pay or hold an invitation. The Wire is not open to the public: reaching it means a subscription or an invitation, and buying one, redeeming one or starting a trial means you agree to these Terms.
These Terms include the Privacy Policy. It is part of this contract, not a separate one, so accepting these Terms accepts it.
Your use is recorded while you are signed in, as a condition of having an account. We record how your account uses the Wire — the pages you view, what the Wire loads for you, what you click, filter and search for, and your sign-ins, checkouts and billing visits — and keep that record for 24 months. We use it to run and secure the Wire, to enforce section 10, to support you, and to decide what to publish. There is no setting that turns it off. This does not take away your rights under data protection law, including the right to object; the Privacy Policy's account usage records section says exactly what is recorded and how to object.
Agreeing is an act, not an assumption. On the payment page you tick one box confirming that you accept these Terms. Stripe, who take the payment for us, will not complete it until you do, and they record that you did. We record which version of these Terms you were shown, so that what you agreed to can be identified later.
One box, and everything it covers is in this document. Until 19 September 2026 the pricing page asked you to tick four separate confirmations before it would let you buy at all. It made the checkout fragile — on our sister wire a reader whose browser held an older copy of that page was refused the sale outright — and it asked you to agree, on the way to the till, to things that belong here. They are here. Nothing was quietly dropped except the asking: section 3 says who the Wire is sold to, section 4 what it costs and how the Trial works, section 6 how renewal and cancellation work, and section 3.3 what your rights are if you are in fact a consumer.
Please read section 8 (what we do not promise) and section 9 (liability). They change what you can expect and what you can claim.
3. Who the Wire is sold to
3.1 The Wire is sold only to businesses — to people buying in the course of a trade, business, craft or profession, and to organisations. It is not marketed to consumers and not priced for personal use. If you cannot confirm that honestly, do not buy; write to us instead.
3.2 If we learn a subscription was bought by a consumer, we may end it under section 7 and refund the unused part of the period paid for.
3.3 If you are a consumer anyway, your rights are untouched. Whether someone is a consumer turns on what they are actually buying for, not on what a contract calls them. Section 2(3) of the Consumer Rights Act 2015 settles that and no term of this contract can change it, including 3.1. So, plainly: if you are in fact a consumer you keep every right the law gives you, in full, even though you confirmed otherwise. In particular the Wire must be of satisfactory quality and as described; you have 14 days to cancel without giving a reason and, because we no longer ask you for the express request and the acknowledgement that regulation 37 of the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 requires, that right is not cut down: if you cancel within 14 days you are refunded in full and owe nothing for what you read in the meantime. We gave that up on 19 September 2026 in exchange for a checkout that does not refuse people; section 9.3 does not apply to you; and you may bring proceedings where you live. Guidance: Citizens Advice, citizensadvice.org.uk, 0808 223 1133. We are not a member of an alternative dispute resolution scheme and do not use one. We are not required to be, and we tell you so here because that is the requirement.
3.4 Subscribers who joined before 1 October 2026. Nothing changes inside a period you have already paid for. At least 30 days before your next renewal we will write, and your subscription then continues under these Terms unless you cancel. Changing these Terms does not change what you are — if you bought as a consumer and still are one, 3.3 applies to you for as long as you hold a subscription.
4. Plans and prices
These prices apply to new subscriptions from 21 October 2026. GBP applies in the UK, EUR elsewhere in Europe, and USD in the Americas and rest of the world. You can select GBP, EUR or USD before checkout; the selected fixed price applies.
| Plan | Price | Billing | Seats |
|---|---|---|---|
| Free | £0 | — | 1 |
| Invitation | £0 | 90 days from access | 1 |
| Monthly | £45 / month · €59 / month · US$65 / month | Monthly in advance | 1 |
| Annual | £450 / year · €590 / year · US$650 / year | Annually in advance | 1 |
| Team | £360 / seat / year · €472 / seat / year · US$520 / seat / year, minimum 5 seats (£1,800 · €2,360 · US$2,600) | Annually in advance | 5+ |
| Enterprise / Enterprise Plus | On application | Annually, invoiced | Negotiated |
Prices exclude VAT, which Stripe calculates and applies where it is due. Monthly and Annual begin with a 14-day Trial; nothing is charged during it, and cancelling before it ends costs you nothing.
4A. Referrals
If a new customer starts a Monthly or Annual subscription through your referral link and remains subscribed with no cancellation scheduled 14 days after their first payment, with no refund or payment dispute, we automatically add one calendar month to each person’s access. For subscribers, this extends the current end date without an extra charge; for free accounts, complimentary access starts when the referral qualifies and ends without becoming a paid plan. We email each person when their month is added. You may earn up to 12 months in any 365 days; rewards have no cash value and cannot be transferred. Self-referrals, existing subscribers and Team, Enterprise or Invitation plans do not qualify. If sharing publicly, disclose your reward; do not send spam or misleading promotions. We may withhold rewards for abuse. Changes to this programme will not affect months already granted.
5. Paying
New paid Monthly and Annual subscriptions use Stripe Managed Payments, with Link as merchant of record. Link handles payment receipts, invoices and transaction support; Colibri publishes the Wire and provides product and access support. We never see or store your card details. Checkout uses the currency you selected and shows applicable tax and the total before you confirm. If a payment fails we may suspend access until it succeeds and may then end the subscription.
You can manage billing through your Wire account or Link, and contact Link for transaction support. Team and Enterprise agreements state their own payment arrangements. Complimentary invitations remain free and use Stripe’s standard checkout without requiring a card.
6. Renewal, cancellation and refunds
6.1 Your subscription renews automatically at the end of each period, at the price then in section 4, until you cancel. There is no minimum term; you can cancel on the first day.
6.2 We send a reminder 7 days before a trial becomes a charge and 7 days before each annual renewal, each stating the amount, the date and a route to cancel. These reminders are sent through Stripe. Link also sends transaction and subscription notices required for Managed Payments.
6.3 Cancelling is one click in your account, or one email. We will never require a phone call, a chat session, or a reason. Cancelling takes effect at the end of the period you have paid for, and you keep access until then.
6.4 Beyond the rights in 3.3, we do not refund part-used periods. We will refund in full where we ended your subscription for a reason that was not your breach, or where something went materially wrong and we agree it did.
6.5 A price rise takes effect only at a renewal, on 30 days' notice, and you may cancel instead of accepting it.
7. Ending it
You may cancel at any time. We may end or suspend a subscription for a material breach of section 10, or where 5 applies. Where we end it for any other reason, we refund the unused part.
8. What we do not promise
The Wire is provided "as is". We do not warrant that it is complete, accurate, current, uninterrupted or error-free, or that any particular contract, award, round or organisation will be covered. Nothing here excludes a term the law does not allow us to exclude.
Nothing on the Wire is investment, legal, export-control or sanctions advice. Defence procurement is subject to export controls, sanctions and security regimes that differ by jurisdiction and change often, so a description of a programme or a rule here is a summary of what was reported, not a statement of your obligations. Nothing here is a recommendation to buy, sell or hold anything, and a contract value, award or funding round reported on the Wire is a record of what a source published, not a valuation. Take advice from someone authorised to give it.
Machine-written, human-responsible. Parts of the Wire are drafted by large language models from published source material. A person is responsible for all of it; "the model did it" is not a defence available to us and we do not offer one. What goes to a model provider — and what never does — is in the Privacy Policy.
9. Our liability
9.1 Nothing limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited.
9.2 Subject to 9.1, we are not liable for any decision you take on the basis of the Wire.
9.3 Subject to 9.1, and where you are not a consumer, we are not liable for loss of profit, business, contracts, anticipated savings or data, or for indirect or consequential loss.
9.4 Subject to 9.1, our total liability is limited to the greater of (a) what you paid us in the twelve months before the claim and (b) £100.
10. What you may not do
You must not: scrape or systematically extract the Wire, its ledger, universe or archive by any automated means beyond ordinary reading and search-engine indexing; use the Wire to train, fine-tune or evaluate a machine-learning model; republish it substantially or present its writing as your own; resell access or share a credential; attempt to reach any non-public part of the Wire or the relay, or probe their security without written permission (a good-faith report to hello@axiom.vc is welcome and we will not threaten you for it); interfere with availability; use the Wire unlawfully or to infringe anyone's rights; or remove an attribution, byline or licence notice.
Breach may mean access is blocked and the subscription ended under section 7. Where a breach is inadvertent and stops when we ask, that is ordinarily the end of it.
11. Rights — ours, yours and other people's
11.1 The Wire's writing, its ledger, its universe and the selection and arrangement of what it publishes are ours or our licensors'. You may quote short extracts with attribution and a link.
11.2 Text and data mining. We expressly reserve our rights under Article 4(3) of Directive (EU) 2019/790 and the corresponding UK provisions. No crawl permission is granted by the absence of a technical block.
11.3 Source material. The Wire reports what its sources publish and links to them; rights in that material stay with those sources. Some of what we build on carries licence conditions we honour — open datasets and public registers are credited as their licences require, and where a headline is shown in translation it is marked as one.
11.4 Takedown and right of reply. If you hold rights in material used on the Wire and object, or we have reported something about you that is wrong, write to hello@axiom.vc with the URL. We acknowledge within 2 working days and decide within 5, same day where the position is clear. You may ask for a correction or for your response to be recorded alongside the item, and we will not unreasonably refuse.
12. Corrections and complaints
Tell us and we will fix it: hello@axiom.vc. We aim to correct a clear factual error within one working day and to reply to every report within five working days. A correction is marked as one — the original is not silently overwritten, because a record that can be quietly rewritten is not a record.
A complaint is acknowledged within 2 working days and answered within 10, and escalates to the director if you are not satisfied. We are not a member of an approved press regulator, by decision rather than oversight. Complaints are handled by us, as set out above, and your legal rights are unaffected.
13. Changes, law and general
We may change these Terms; the version and date at the top change with them, and where a change materially affects you we will say so rather than relying on you to re-read this page.
These Terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and its courts have exclusive jurisdiction — except that a consumer may bring proceedings where they live, and the mandatory consumer-protection law of that country continues to apply.
If any provision is unenforceable the rest stands. A person who is not a party has no right to enforce these Terms.
